Scale s is not a standard deviation; the standard deviation is πs/√3, and logistic model fit is not established by this calculation.
Numerical scope
Inputs use double-precision numerical methods with guarded domains. Datasets accept up to 10,000 finite plain-decimal values. Extremely large parameters or probabilities deep in a numerical tail may require specialist statistical software.
Interpretation
The logistic distribution is symmetric like the normal distribution but has heavier tails under comparable scales.
