Calculation method
Transparent pet-care arithmetic
Dry matter % = 100 − moisture %; nutrient DMB % = as-fed nutrient % ÷ dry matter % × 100.
The calculator exposes the entered assumptions and intermediate amounts rather than generating a hidden feeding rule, ideal weight, health classification, policy decision, or animal-care recommendation.
