Calculation method
Transparent pet-care arithmetic
Feed dry matter = as-fed mass × DM%; selected nutrient mass = feed dry matter × nutrient percentage on a DM basis.
The calculator exposes the entered assumptions and intermediate amounts rather than generating a hidden feeding rule, ideal weight, health classification, policy decision, or animal-care recommendation.
