Quick guide

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter one factor per line or separate factors with semicolons.
  2. Use leading signs when factors are negative.
  3. Read the exact product, factor count, and sign information.
  4. Copy the complete result when needed.

Calculation method

Exact multiplication across a list

The calculator multiplies integer coefficients and adds decimal scales, avoiding floating-point approximation.

An odd number of negative factors gives a negative product; an even number gives a positive product. If any factor is zero, the exact product is immediately zero.

Worked example

Multiply −1.5, 2, and −3

Two negative factors produce a positive result, and the decimal scale is retained exactly.

(−1.5) × 2 × (−3) = 9.0

Supported inputs

Precision and limits

Factor count

Enter between 2 and 100 factors.

Exact decimals

Each factor may contain up to 200 digits and 100 decimal places.

Controlled size

Inputs and the exact fixed-decimal display are limited to 2,000 digit characters.

Unambiguous separators

Use line breaks or semicolons; grouping commas are not accepted.
