Quick guide
How to use this calculator
- Use the labels and unit notes to enter the requested measurement, date, time, or observation exactly as recorded.
- Check the visible method, population, and unit basis before using the result; switch modes rather than converting values mentally.
- Read the calculation audit and limitations together. The result supports measurement or tracking and does not replace diagnosis, treatment, or urgent medical assessment.
Calculation method
How the next period date range calculator works
Projected date = last recorded period start + selected cycle length. History mode uses the observed minimum, median, and maximum intervals; when an even history has a half-day median, the two surrounding whole calendar dates are displayed. Manual mode uses three whole-day entered lengths.
The output is transparent date, duration, or entered-measurement arithmetic. It does not diagnose a reproductive condition, confirm ovulation or pregnancy, predict success, or recommend treatment.
Worked example
Next Period Date Range example
With a last start of March 1 and cycle lengths of 27, 29, and 31 days, the projected range is March 28 to April 1 with March 30 as the central date.
Projected date = last recorded period start + selected cycle length. History mode uses the observed minimum, median, and maximum intervals; when an even history has a half-day median, the two surrounding whole calendar dates are displayed. Manual mode uses three whole-day entered lengths.

Precision and limits
Supported purpose
Cycles and fertility signs vary within and between people. Recheck dates and units; use an appropriate health professional for symptoms, pregnancy questions, fertility concerns, laboratory interpretation, or care decisions. Do not use these calculators as contraception. A projected range is not a promise that bleeding will start inside it and cannot explain a missed period.
Measurement quality
The output is only as reliable as the entered measurement, device, timing, units, and applicable reference population. Recheck unexpected values against the original record.
Clinical boundary
This calculator does not diagnose a condition, choose treatment, change medication, or determine that an urgent symptom is safe to monitor at home. Contact an appropriate health professional or local emergency service when the situation may be urgent.
Privacy
Entered health values and results stay in this browser tab. They are not placed in URLs, analytics, logs, local storage, session replay, or a cloud record by this calculator.
