Quick guide

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter the contractual or scenario values requested by each label.
  2. Keep amounts in one currency and use the whole-period unit shown on each label.
  3. Review every result with the stated exclusions.

Calculation method

Calculation method

Total monthly housing payment = level mortgage payment + entered tax + insurance + other monthly charges.

The engine retains calculation precision and rejects invalid or numerically unreliable schedules.

Worked example

Scenario example

A 120,000 zero-rate mortgage over 120 months has a 1,000 principal-and-interest payment. Adding 100 tax, 50 insurance, and 25 other charges gives 1,175 per month.

Total monthly housing payment = level mortgage payment + entered tax + insurance + other monthly charges.
