Average daily balance = sum(balance × days held) ÷ cycle days. Interest = average daily balance × annual rate × cycle days ÷ day-count basis.

Entered fixed decimals are parsed exactly. Compound projections use stable exponential forms and preserve zero-rate cases exactly; money rounds only for display and a supported nonzero amount is not replaced by a misleading zero.

Worked example

Balances of 1,000 for 10 days and 2,000 for 20 days in a 30-day cycle have an average daily balance of 1,666.67.

Average daily balance = sum(balance × days held) ÷ cycle days. Interest = average daily balance × annual rate × cycle days ÷ day-count basis.
