Calculation method

Transparent education workflow

Student percentage = earned points ÷ available points × 100; each grade uses the highest entered minimum threshold not exceeding that percentage.

The calculator preserves relevant distinctions and reports intermediate components rather than converting missing information into an assumed score, policy, equivalency, or approval.

Worked example

A score of 42 out of 50 is 84%; with B beginning at 80%, the result is B with a four-point margin above its threshold.
