Quick guide
How to use this calculator
- Choose the explicit policy, scale, scoring basis, or planning method before entering results.
- Use the labelled fields and add one structured row per course, attempt, component, criterion, learner record, unit, or workload batch that belongs in the scenario.
- Read component outputs before the overall summary: they expose denominators, active weights, exclusions, shortages, thresholds, provenance, and the record or stage driving the result.
Calculation method
Transparent education workflow
Equivalent absences = absences + late arrivals × entered late-equivalence; projected attendance = 1 − equivalent absences ÷ eligible sessions.
The calculator preserves relevant distinctions and reports intermediate components rather than converting missing information into an assumed score, policy, equivalency, or approval.
Worked example
Worked example
After 80 eligible sessions with 6 absences, attendance is 92.5%; a visitor-entered 90% threshold leaves two equivalent absences before reaching 8 of 80.
Equivalent absences = absences + late arrivals × entered late-equivalence; projected attendance = 1 − equivalent absences ÷ eligible sessions.

Visitor-entered rules and assumptions
No grading scale, attendance threshold, late-work rule, mastery definition, institutional conversion, admissions requirement, curriculum rule, or room-safety standard is supplied automatically.
Privacy by default
Use short non-identifying labels. Entered academic information and results stay in this browser tab and are not placed in URLs, analytics, storage, session replay, or a cloud record.
Support, not automated judgement
Results organize arithmetic evidence. They do not rank learners, diagnose learning, predict admission, determine placement, recommend discipline, certify safety, or replace professional and institutional judgement.
Calculator-specific boundary
Attendance definitions and intervention rules vary by institution and jurisdiction. The entered threshold is a monitoring scenario, not an automatic truancy, risk, disciplinary, or welfare conclusion.
