Prepare comparable shipment measurements without silently choosing a carrier rule or mixing centimetre- and inch-based divisors.
Sort dimensions so length is longest; girth = 2(width + height); convert dimensions to the explicitly selected divisor basis; dimensional weight = basis-aligned cubic dimension ÷ divisor.

Parcel Dimensions example
A 50 × 30 × 20 cm parcel has 30,000 cm³ volume, 100 cm girth, and 6 kg dimensional weight at a 5,000 cm³/kg divisor.
Sort dimensions so length is longest; girth = 2(width + height); convert dimensions to the explicitly selected divisor basis; dimensional weight = basis-aligned cubic dimension ÷ divisor.
