What is Metric Prefix?
Metrology compares indications with references under declared units, ranges, resolution, tolerances, distributions, and calibration relationships. Error, correction, adjustment, uncertainty, and conformity are different results.

The entered decimal scale factor is converted once to the canonical unprefixed unit basis and then from that basis to the selected output unit.
